There's beauty in winter.
It can be found all around us.
From how striking the "dead" trees are against a white backdrop,to a single cardinal woefully calling out. This is winter,a time of Christmas,a time of remembrance and giving. The hours we fill with warm coco, snow ball fights, and snow angels.
It's a time of sadness where we miss those lost.
But winter is also joy.
The anticipation and smiling faces.
Gifts abundantly given, and old faces reunited.
Winter isn't just winter..it's magic.
